Yabbadabbadoo
Hey all! I have recording of top and bottom mic where the drummer is playing 16th notes and I quantized both regions and now it sounds like they have a phaser or something on them. What can I do to make them sound good but quantized? Cheers, Yab
rAC
What is the space difference from the top and bottom mics to the source? What is your sample rate? Calculate the the time difference and adjust one of them accordingly then phase 180 degrees.

This is unfortunately way above my paygrade as I'm not experienced enough to understand/make this happen. I think I just came up with a solution though. Get a blend I like between them, bounce them into 1 then quantize just the 1 file. Edited October 16, 2023 by Yabbadabbadoo

Also I’d have to go fetch the info on mic placement from the recorder etc. My solution was just way easier and quicker.
