LogicIsDoomed
Trying to use "Transform Window > Conditions > Subposition. Can't get it to do anything. It's unresponsive to any condition I set.
Solution David Nahmani Posted October 28, 2023 Solution Share Posted October 28, 2023 Let's say you have notes on every beat, and set the subposition to 0 2 1 1, it would select all the notes on beat 2.
tommydahlman
I finally found the solution to this. I was trying to select just the notes very near the 1 in every bar and quantize them to reinforce the beat. What solved it was to select Subposition, Inside, -1.4.4.236 and 0.1.1.32. Using 0.4.4.236 and 1.1.1.32, which was my natural choice doesn't work. Big thanks to David for pointing to the 0. You live and you learn.

Yes indeed, that's the solution to select all notes between 5 ticks before and 31 ticks after the first beat of every bar. Not exactly intuitive... but it works. 🙂
