steinweg
Are there any issues, that Ventura causes (that Monterey does not), that are still not resolved on 13.6.1? Or is it easy peasy to upgrade?
DanRad
I'd like to know this too... any help/observations or suggestions welcome DanRad
Holger Lagerfeldt
On Ventura 13.6.1 I experience no problems at all. Smooth sailing. Been smooth since 13.3, up until which point I did experience a crash a week or so. Mac mini M2, LPX 10.8, hundreds of plug-ins (mainly non-instruments), RX Adv, DDP Creator, etc. No crashes, no hiccups.
Iaamusic
No problem, did it last month on M1 studio, everything ok. Although I’d rationalized my 3rd party plugins to those that were native. never used logic in Rosetta mode tempted now to move up again,
rAC
I think by Monterey most of the issues with Apple’s chips/OS for them were sorted. Both Monterey to Ventura (on both an intel iMac Pro and an M1) and Ventura to Sonoma went very smoothly for me.
DanRad
Thank you for this info. I plan on continuing to use Rosetta (there are some plugs I can bear to lose). Does Rosetta continue in Ventura and Sonoma? DanRad

However, going all native seems to provide a 10-15% CPU efficiency boost in my tests. Maybe more when bouncing offline, for some reason. I still have one plug-in that's Intel based and I can't live without, but I'm trying to get the programmer to make a native version. $
