David Nahmani
I just published a new article that explains the new features in Logic Pro 10.8. A first (quick) look at... Sample Alchemy, Beat Breaker, Mastering Assistant, Slip & Rotate tools, the MIDI 2.0 and Percent resolution displays, the new default region types, and the new sound packs. 7
des99
In an undocumented discovery, it seems Logic now supports MIDI output from instrument plugins too...

Wow!! That's big news! I'm surprised this isn't documented.

Yes it's a really cool way to create all kinds of new sounds from audio samples. You can get going very quickly, or spend a lot of time going more in depth and even open your resulting sound in Alchemy and go even further.
Christopher11
Super intrigued about that. So could I for example load in a vocal sample, then create a playable instrument based on that?
