KJD
Hi all. I have years of projects that I had moved to iCloud for backup. Now, when I go to open the project folders, the projects are gone. Other related files are there. Not sure what I've done. They were created on an older iMac. (Projects on my new iMac are not disappearing). The older machine crashed, so can't access it. Any thoughts on how I could possibly get these projects back? Thanks all.
rAC
Repair the old Mac is probably the easiest way to get them back or borrow/buy a drive caddy and put the old Mac’s HDDs into it. In future don’t store Logic projects on a cloud unless they are zipped first - Logic projects use file attributes(? Or something) that aren’t compatible with cloud storage. Dynamic_Notes
Ive never used cloud for this purpose. Agree with @rAC about pulling that drive. Ive done the same thing with my old Mac and mounted the drives in a PC running Linux, although a IDE/SATA > USB cable would be much easier. If its as old as mine with IDE connections you might want to check the interface has both.
