Jordn
I'm about to save all the mix busses, instrument track channel strips, sends, and the stereo output of my finished projects as individual channel strips in my Channel Strips Settings folder. A suggestion I would hav for Apple is to provide a way users can tell Logic to do this on its own.
David Nahmani
If the goal is to reuse those channel strip settings in other projects, you can use File > Import > Logic Projects... to select the tracks you want to import (along with their plug-ins). Jordn
My idea is for Logic to copy and export all the channel strips of a project simultaneously to a folder for call-up later to avoid the user from copying them individually. E.g. , down the line on a project, if I say, "Man, I think the drum mix bus strip or the instrument guitar strip from last year's Project Xwould be great right here in this current project," I won't have to reopen a whole older project to copy and save the strip I want to import. This would be a great workflow saver. If that makes sense. Edited November 16, 2023 by Jordn
David Nahmani
Yes, I agree that would be a good idea, I was just offering a workaround that you can use right now without having to wait for a new feature. Just import all or a selection of the channel strip settings from your project into any new project. Not the same, but can help achieve the same goal... for now. 🙂
