Change default settings when creating a new session.

Is there a way to change the default clock setting for a new session in Logic?

I'm doing Atmos sessions and Dolby requires 48 or 96/24fps while Logic's default is 29.97 fps and I can't see a way to change it to 24 fps as the default.

Create an empty project with those settings and save it as a template?

Yeah I thought of that but I wish I could just make it the default so I didn't need to use a template. Lazy? Yeah, that's me. Smile

Yes, in that window you're showing, you can set the default sample rate and frame rate for all new sessions in Logic.

Hmm,

I changed the frame rate there but when open it again to create a new session it's back at 23.97.

I would try to delete your Logic Pro preferences file. Quit Logic first then: 

1. In the Finder, hold down Option while you click the Go menu and choose Library.
2. Navigate to /Library/Preferences/ 
3. Inside that folder delete com.apple.logic10.plist

Yeah, I did that. It is still reverting to 29.97 when I open Logic and choose "Open Empty Project".

I guess I'll just use "Open From Template" and not worry about it.

Ok so latests Logic version then. I can't explain why you're not getting the expected behavior then. Weird.

Yes it'll have to be good enough I suppose. Sorry I wasn't able to help further on this issue. Hopefully this will get fixed for you when you update in the future.
