ideaph
Logic hangs and must be force quit after selecting File>New From Template. 10.8.1 (Thought updating from 10.8 might fix, but no. OS 14.1.2.
Jordi Torres
Hi Matt, I can't reproduce that behavior here on Ventura with either of my Macs (Intel and Silicon). Might be Sonoma-specific? Hopefully someone running Sonoma can chime in. J.

David Nahmani
I can't reproduce this in Sonoma. Try to create a new user account to test in? Or if you don't have too many custom settings, try to delete your Logic preferences?
Solution ideaph Posted December 1, 2023 Author Solution Share Posted December 1, 2023 Trashing the prefs solved the problem. (com.apple.logic10.plist - NOT com.apple.logic.pro.cs - deleting that prevented Logic from starting up) I had to re enable Advanced Features after that to get the user templates visible in the project chooser. I end up changing custom settings quite a bit, so not too big a deal there. Thanks!
