Deconvolving issue with Impulse Response Utility

I'd like to use Impulse Response Utility to generate impulse responses from my old rack reverbs. I read Apple's online guide to set things up and the recording all works well using a 10s sine sweep.

The problem is when I deconvolve the recording I can still hear the high frequency content of the sine sweep.

Are there any extra steps I need to take between recording and deconvolving to ensure the sweep is completely removed?

Setup: Sine sweep output from MOTU M4 output 3 to reverb mono input then reverb stereo output to MOTU M4 input 1&2.

macOS 13.4 / Logic 10.7.7 / Impulse Response Utility 10.7.7 (5762)
