andymunro73
Hi there Folks, I'm recording a slow piano song for Christmas. It's a mash up of "Lonely This Christmas" & "Hallelujah". So a slow tempo of about 60bpm. I want to score it out in 12/8 and not 4/4 so I don't have to think about triplets. So - how do I make Logic think that I'm playing in 12/8. I recorded the four bar intro then stopped the take. And now when I record again, Smart Tempo Analysis, thinks that the same piece of music is only two bars but a totally different tempo! Even though they sound the same. So I suppose that Logic is treating the 8th notes differently in both takes. What's going on? Also - Which Logic drummer should I use to replicate the "Lonely This Christmas" kind of feel? Thanks for any help. Edited December 11, 2023 by andymunro73 missed something out. DanRad
This has been a tough one for me too. Getting a click that feels in 4/4 but it actually being in 12/8 is a nut I have yet to crack. Can anyone make some suggestions? Especially for rending notated parts.
