Gareth Williams79
Hi everybody, I’ve just bought a new version of Logic, from the Apple website, but at no point did it ask for the money! It downloaded it and installed it and I’m using it but no transaction has happened on my bank statement (when I logged into online banking) and no transaction is apparent in my Apple account purchase history. Is this normal? Thanks for your help. Gareth
des99
Do you mean you downloaded the trial version? That’s the only version available from their website. To buy the full version, you have to buy it from the AppleStore.
Gareth Williams79
It was the Apple Store. It said Free Trial or Buy and I clicked on Buy. I guess I'll find out when the trial runs out! How long does the trail last for?
des99
It lasts for 90 days: https://www.apple.com/uk/logic-pro/trial/

If yes which one? All updates since Logic Pro X 10.0 have been free.
Gareth Williams79
Yes I did and that might explain it! I bought it in April 2014. I just got a new iMac so I thought I needed to buy it again. I'll check what version I had before but it's definitely Pro X somehting. Yes then if you signed up to the App Store with that same Apple ID there was no need to purchase a new license, just download the new Logic Pro version for free! 🙂
