Ninecows
I could only find a very old topic on this. Maybe it has been implemented and I'm just not seeing the obvious or? Anyway. It's very simple. I would like to build a couple of user patches for my various equipment that is always hooked up to the same channels on my interface. So I imagine loading patches like: Vocal mic, input channel 4 with my favorite compressor and eq setting. My Hydrasynth as stereo inputs 5 and 6 Helix guitar multi effect two tracks: A stereo track, inputs 19 + 20 A mono track input 25 (muted) etc... The idea is that I just load the patch and then I don't have to find the inputs and everything saving me a few clicks. Unfortunately Logic does not seem to save the input settings. I looked into the plist files generated when you save a user patch, but they don't mean much to me. Maybe these can be modified to retain the input settings. Solution Jordi Torres Posted January 3 Solution Share Posted January 3 Hi @Ninecows, No, unfortunately that data (the input number) is not saved with the Patch. The only way you could restore the patch fully (including the input number) is by importing it from a pre-existing project, because that data is stored in the project file, not the patch. Ninecows
Yeah... after searching around and fiddling with it I'm coming to that conclusion. Annoying. Gonna make a song template with all common tracks in it and base everything on that. Thanks, Jordi 🙂

Thanks, Jordi 🙂 You’re welcome 😊 It might be worth a shot to send it as a feature request: https://www.apple.com/feedback/logic-pro/ J.
