Click the ◀▷ symbol to the right of the track header, or remove the loops that are on that track from the Live Loop grid. It's not exactly new (it's been around since Logic Pro 10.5 released in May 2020). Quick summary: When you have loops in the Live Loops grid, and regions in the Tracks area, Logic can play either the loops, or the regions, but not both. These ◀▷ switches allow you to switch between playing the loops (and muting the regions) or playing the regions (and muting the loops). Just wondered what it was for and how to open that feature. Well, it's a mute "feature" in the sense that if you switch to playing Live Loops but there are none there will obviously be no sound.
