Robeen
Hi, In my song, I recorded an Acoustic Guitar track and later added a lead guitar part starting at Bar 113 1 and ending at Bar 140 1. When I send these two tracks to a friend who I am collaborating with, do I need to worry about the fact that the lead guitar track is ‘empty’ till Bar 113 1? I mean, do I need to add a blank Region/Section/ … something … to the first 112 Bars - to prevent the second track from being ‘out of place’ when it transfers? Do I need to add another region in the first 112 Bars and join it to the Lead guitar region? I’d appreciate any help I can get. Thanks! oscwilde
Is your colleague using the same version of Logic? If so, just save the project with Assets (notably the audio files).

We are on different continents and he’s not the best communicator. I just selected my two tracks and then did File | Export | Two Regions as Audio Files - and sent those to him. The export process kept that 112 Bar space on the second track - so … fingers crossed. Thanks!
