Plugin windows don't open automatically in Logic anymore

Many 3rd party AU plugins don't open automatically in Logic running natively, works as usual when running Logic in Rosetta mode.

If I load a plugin on a channel strip, for many 3rd party plugins, the plugin window doesn't pop up like it always has. I have to click on the plugin in the channel strip slot to open its window.

This is really annoying if you want to make use of your M1, M2 etc processor and not running Logic in Rosetta.

Still in 10.8.1 this is still an issue and widely reported about. Has anyone figured out a fix for this?

Open plug-in window on insertion checkbox.

Works fine for me on 10.8.1/Sonoma in both native/Rosetta.....on 3 different Macs.

Yeah I have that turned on...

About 50% of the time the plug-in window will not open, about 50% it will... I take this is a bug in Logic Pro when using apple silicon mode for certain users?

I've had "open plug-in window" OFF for a while now…at least it's consistent!

Really…the main reason I did it was because with it ON it was opening third-party ones when I option-dragged (copied) plugins between tracks…something it didn't do in previous versions of LP.

But I still find myself waiting…staring at the screen after adding a plugin…then realizing I need to open it manually.
