mikejk
Hi everyone, it seems that I continuously experience strange things with Logic Pro. here is a new one. The screen is "flashing" (I don't know how to describe it) when I run Logic Pro with a 2022 Mac mini Intel connected to a recent LG 27" screen. This phenomenon only occurs when running Logic Pro. Everything seems OK with connectors, cables and so on. No need to say that it's impossible to work in these conditions. It doesn't seen to be related to a particular Logic file. It makes it every time. It has started after the latest Logic Pro upgrade. Does someone has any idea about it and how to fix it ? Here is a video of the problem. Solution David Nahmani Posted February 15 Solution Share Posted February 15 This is, unfortunately, a known issue:
mikejk
So, I just have to wait for Apple to fix it? Correct?
David Nahmani
Just now, mikejk said: So, I just have to wait for Apple to fix it? Correct? I'm afraid so. I would recommend you add your voice to the thread I linked to, and also report your issue directly to Apple: https://www.apple.com/feedback/logic-pro/
oscwilde
This appears to be a Sonoma/Intel Mac thing....not specifically Logic. Early reports on Sonoma 14.3.1 indicate that this has been addressed. The alternative is to roll back to Ventura.
mikejk
Silly. Going back to Ventura is a pain in the ass. Fortunately, we have an old MacBook Pro which will do the job in the mean time that Apple will fix the problems that it has created itself. This "appears" to have fixed the issue per reports (on page 3) here. Note that you might need to trash your logic prefs (and possibly control surface prefs):
