Need to get rid of unintended mute automation. Help!

I've been working on an epic 10 minute prog rock song with a string arrangement that I've poured hours into writing automation for volume and expression swells. Then somehow I inadvertently activated mute automation. I've been trying to inactivate it. No luck. Tried writing automation to cancel the mute. No luck.

Is there a way to disable the mute automation in the track header area?

How do I get rid of the mute automation? A lot riding on fixing this. Appreciate any help. Thank you in advance.

You should be able to click the > symbol in front of the automation mode pop-up menu (Read etc...) and then see all automation curves. On the "Mute" automation curve, bring your mouse over the "Mute" parameter pop-up menu and click the On/Off button that appears:

Or better yet, if you want to delete that automation, Option + ciick the first Mute automation point to select the Mute automation curve, then press Delete
