Joelbille
Hi! Since I updated to Logic 10.8.1, under OS 13.6.4 (Ventura) performance has generally dropped significantly for me. Lots of crashes, even during recording (which I don't think has ever happened before during my 15 years of Logic use) and things just not going smoothly. Most significantly, whenever I create a cross fade using the cross fade tool Logic freezes completely for about 5 seconds. Every time. Never had anything like it before. Does not happen when I use a key command to create a standard fade, so I guess a workaround would be to to that and then edit the fades as I want them, but it's a bit rough. I run a 2017 MacBook Pro 15´ with Intel Core i7, 16gb ram and hundreds of free GB drive space. Any ideas? Or do you simply need a new fancy M16 to be able to even run Logic these days? Solution Jordi Torres Posted March 4 Solution Share Posted March 4 Hi @Joelbille, Unfortunately this is an known issue with Intel Macs: The known solution is to upgrade to Sonoma, but then you might run into this other issue: J.
Joelbille
Thanks, sorry for double posting. Did a search but didn't find it. Questions remains if it's worth the risk of new issues 😄
