Desha Posted March 11 Share Posted March 11 ??? How can I move midi regions without affecting any of the tempo settings? I beat-mapped a few bars of a file for a dramatic ritardando. I need to drag different midi regions into and out of that area to try different orchestration ideas. No matter what I do, the tempo goes with the region. >> The manual says that option-drag will move a midi region without moving any tempo information. When I try that, the tempo information still moves with the region, even if I "protect" lock the tempo track in the global tracks (regions moved there from outside those measures bring their static tempo with them and overwrite the ritard.
