Easy Velvet
"An Audio Unit plug-in reported a problem which might cause the system to become unstable..."? No more! The app "SILICON" from Imazing (https://imazing.com/downloads) is free and amazingly working fine! install, open, and drag one by one your AU plugin component from you plugin folder to check their compatibility with Logic running natively. Easy. But one can still check in activity monitor: - "auhostingservice" is active for any third party plugins running natively (that's the okay situation) - "auhostingcompatibilityservice" is active for any third party plugins NOT running natively (that's the NOT okay situation, cause it may bring the massage "An Audio Unit plug-in reported ...") - if you are using plugins original from the DAW, none of both are active in the activity monitor. I recommend to put the focus on the plugins working natively, and trying to not get use of working with Rosetta (except when reallllly needed) cause its really affecting the performance of the M1. Hope it serve to someone... somewhere... somehow... Edited March 17 by Easy Velvet
des99
PlugInfo from Thinkersnacks (App Store) is my preferred way of showing me which architectures my installed plugins support, if you're not aware of that one - great tool. 2
