Creating a track stack with an existing routed buss

Recommended Posts

I have been dealing a project recently and came across a situation. I have 5 channels which I have routed to Bus 65. After creating the bus, I made it appear into the workspace as a channel by clicking the read button in the mixer. Then I select all of these channel routed to Bus 65 and created a summing track. Logic used to create a summing track by using the already in use bus ro create the summing track. But instead it now creates a new bus and then route it to the old one. It may be the right thing to do for the most of the people but here comes my problem.

How can I create a summing track by using the bus that I routed the channels to? I do not want Logic to determine the Bus number. If I start the process by selecting all of the channels and create a summing track, yes I can see the list of channels listed under the just created bus. But in this case Logic determine the bus number and I don not want that. I have more than 60 buses in this project and I want them to be in order that I want.

Is there any way to achieve what I want?

Thanks in advance people
