TmhaLogic34
So the instrument that I chose and drew a midi pattern for plays the sound I originally selected…but when you go into inspector, it shows the instrument is a different sound/name through Alchemy? So now that I’m trying to mess with the original instruments pads that I selected…it’s no longer that sound and I honestly can’t remember what the actual instrument I had originally selected was…and my presets. Currently all I’m left with is the sound that I recorded and I can’t play that sound on my midi keyboard because for some reason some random Aclhemy instrument is selected instead, but yet again the midi region I drew up plays the right sound? The midi region states it’s the Boesendorfer Grand Piano, but it’s not. Because I know it was some instrument from Alchemy…just NOT the one that is now selected? 73341980656__3F2DB920-F49A-49D1-95F5-1BCDA8303EAD.mp4
Solution David Nahmani Posted March 29 Solution Share Posted March 29 It's hard to tell for sure from your video, but from here it sounds the same to me, except you're not playing the same pitches as you have in the MIDI region. The name of the MIDI region could be anything, you could name it drums or guitar, it just contains MIDI notes that trigger the instrument in the channel strip. That MIDI region probably inherited the name of the patch that was initially loaded on that track when you recorded or created that MIDI region. Feel free to make a copy of that project, remove all tracks but that Alchemy track and share it with us here so that one of us can have a look. Yeah, I’m slow and accidentally knocked the midi keyboard down a couple octaves and didn’t notice! Realized that shortly after I posted this, thank you!
