globet
You can transpose by +1 -1 semitones. Can you define a scale and only transpose within that scale? For example, if you choose Cmaj, transpose will go from C to D skipping C# and then to E skipping D# then to F and so on. With the Brush Tool in the Piano Roll Editor and with Scale Quantize turned on, you can input only the notes of the selected scale. With this feature, the ability to transpose by scales might be possible.
David Nahmani
You can use the Transposer MIDI FX plug-in.

Is there a workaround to record the changes to actual MIDI? Would be awesome.

Or you would have to use an IAC bus to re-route the MIDI from Logic's output back to its input on another track... Or use MIDI FX Freeze. David Nahmani
Just now, globet said: Is there a plugin similar to the Transposer but for audio files? No, not exactly. But you could look into Melodyne DNA. 1 minute ago, globet said: are there any other notable purchase to use plugins like the MIDI Freeze plugin? I'm not sure what you mean? If you can find more plugins like these you can learn the limitations of Logic and find new and exciting workarounds. Will checkout Melodyne DNA.
