shapiro Posted April 21 Share Posted April 21 (edited) I've already successfully moved my Sampler factory library to an external drive, but I'd now like to move my User library which is almost 100 GB to the same ext drive. Ideally I'd wanna use an alias or Symbolic Link so all my old projects with Sampler instruments instantiated would automatically load. Is this possible to achieve? des99 Posted April 21 Share Posted April 21 The instruments don't need to be moved from the standard instrument locations that Sampler looks in, and are pretty small so it's pointless anyway. The samples those instruments use can go anywhere, although you can alias them from the known sample locations in your user Logic folder if you like, which might help Logic with locating them. Just test with one instrument and make sure after you've moved it's samples it still loads, then you can do the rest. 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
