Lynn David Newton
I composed a piece in traditional notation, exported it as a MIDI file, and imported it into Logic as a reference track. At the end is a ritardando (written ritard in the printed music). When it plays back in Logic, the slowing starts about two beats sooner than I would like, and it slows down way too much. How can I adjust both of those within Logic without having to change it in the written music and import another version of the track? Thank you for the excellent support I get through this forum. Solution wonshu Posted April 24 Solution Share Posted April 24 Open the global tracks and edit the tempo there, like in this gif:
Lynn David Newton
Yes! The global tracks adjustment works exactly as I want it to. I saw something about global tracks fly by in reading a while back. For the benefit of other readers, I know music well, including music notation, but I'm still in the early stages of learning to be productive with Logic, so sometimes I ask what might appear to be dumb questions. Be patient with me. I'll mark this as a solution. Thank you for the quick turnaround.
