mostlyzoso
I think im having trouble on the low end. I know this problem gets kind of redundant but im looking for that "boom". e.g. DJ Khaled "I'm So Hood". It seems like when I find a good Sub sound it clashes with my kick drum and gets "muddy" quick. How should I approach my low end? Any suggestions would be much appreciated! www.myspace.com/bagoffunk

mostlyzoso
Thanks man! The kick I use the most is the first kick on the default ultrabeat. I always use the default compressor. I also manuipulate the pitch of the kick drum to whatever key my synths are in, this makes a big difference. There are also some good ones in the Acoustic Kick Drum Bank in Ultrabeat. Im doing a song now where I've stacked three kicks on top of each other. Don't know if it's working yet.
