I'm thinking about going between the Novation Compact or Remote and am hoping to be able to work on EQ with the controller. On that note, would the extra knobs on the Remote really prove useful or can one get a good workflow with just the 8 (that the Compact has)? I have no experience here so... djals Posted December 12, 2007 Share Posted December 12, 2007 You can set up any parameter in Logic to a control surface using the (initially confusing) Controller Assignment window. Check the forum and manual for more on that. I have a controller with 8 faders and 8 pots, which is okay for most plug-ins but i always feel i could use a few more, especially when working with things like Sculpture and ES2 etc. I'd say get as many controllers as you can, it makes for a more interactive and enjoyable experience.
