jaysunice Posted January 13, 2006 Share Posted January 13, 2006 FYI - I am using a 2.0 GHz Dual-Processing G5 with Panther. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but from my understanding the processors' "tasks" are divided up between Logic and OSX -- i.e., under the System Performance view each processor does not rise and fall at the same rate. The problem, when playing certain layered patches in Sampletank 2 XL, one of the first processor reaches the top extremely quickly, while the second processor is near zero; the result, Sampletank "craps" out on me with noises, clicks, pops...whatever you want to call it. My question(s): Does anyone have a solution to this? Is there a way to divide up the tasks and what gets routed to each processor yourself? Many thanks, J.
