el-bo Posted March 21, 2008 Share Posted March 21, 2008 back in the days when i used to smoke copious amounts of marijuana (disclaimer...drugs are bad ), my friend and i wrote this variation on a classic we both wrote the lyrics, i played the lead/spanish guitar....my friend did the bass, steel strung and vocals it was recorded using the condensor mic on an old sony tape-to-tape machine....it was able to take input from the mic while dubbing from cassette A, allowing for very crude multi-tracking i have never laughed so much as when my mate laid down the vocal line...almost hernia territory...a hospital visit would have been unfortunate, due to the large amount of hash brownie in my system anyways....i recently dug it up and gave it the 'just found an old dusty 33rpm up in the loft' treatment and thought some of you may appreciate it enjoy http://www.mediafire.com/?ehixgdrm3az Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
