Patrick Andrew
Here is a quick and easy way to add monitor switching. I tried Davids monitorswitcher but did not want to have all the outputs sent to a bus ( as I use various buses for various things) and needed to easily implement this in previous songs. There is a mono (left side only) button included. The monitor selection is done with the I/O plugin Select your alternate monitor output in the respective I/O plugins (in the output) I did this on my Motu Ultralite, should be easy enough on other interfaces It's quick it's easy . . . Adapt it to your own work flow. You might want to move the plugins to the last available positions so there is room in the beginning positions for bus compression, eq etc . . as these do not work after the I/O plugins. mobi
Thanks a lot!! I was scratching my head last night how to achieve this without using extra hardware in my setup, Hope that Logic someday features as advanced studio control features as Nuendo,
medusaproductions
andrew this is a great environment. Can you explain how you set this up. I am unable to move the I/O plugins down the inserts chain so I can fit an adlim and compressor. How do you change which insert each of the buttons changes? Patrick Andrew
Connect a monitor in the environment and it will show you (when you click on the bypass) what message is sent.
