Sean Nash
okay so whenever i pull down the velocity settings for a note in the piano roll it doesnt make a difference. am i right in thinking that if i pull it down to zero it shouldnt sound at all. Ploki
maybe your instrument is not velocity dependent?
Sean Nash
maybe your instrument is not velocity dependent? never thought about that.could that be the case.well its velocity sensitive when i play on my midi keyboard so i presumed it would be when automated
m-m-m
your talking about using the velocity mouse tool right?? Always worked fine for me ... Maybe try doing the same thing in a different VI on a new channel strip and see what results you get. Is it possible that you added a velocity boost in the inspector that limiting your velocity range (I'm not even sure if that function works with midi that's already been recorded or just incoming midi data). Anyways, if it's a stock channel strip that your workin' with I'd be willing to open it up on my system and see what's goin' on.
