steveH Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 Here's what's happening: Sometimes Logic's score editor doesn't know which region (staff) to attach the lyric especially if you place to far below the intended notes. I suggest that you double click on the melody's staff which will, in effect, isolate the melody's region in the score editor. I tried making sure that the region is isolated and lengthened, and the cursor still skips ahead..sometimes several measures, sometimes a few beats, sometimes it moves backwards.
