sed_p
Does anyone know of a way to use my standard aluminum keyboard as a MIDI controller in Mainstage? I'm able to do it in Logic Pro but I need a way to do it live in Mainstage...
Chrispink
I assume that your controller is not recognised by Mainstage (ie you get the "hardware controllers not assigned" message when you start Mainstage.) So go to layout mode, click on one of the knobs on screen, press learn and wiggle one of the controllers (if any) on your keyboard). Best to start with the mod wheel and main output as these are common to most controllers.

Chris, I think you misunderstood: sed_p is NOT using a controller, but wants to use his computer keyboard as a MIDI controller. I don't think that can be done in MainStage. David Nahmani
I really need to use MainStage more often. Thanks for the answer!
