Schmeckitup
I've been using Logic 8 for a while now, but haven't gone deep into non-basic midi or environment setups. I mix using a Mackie Control, and was hoping to use the v-pots to control the macro knobs on the ES2. I can go into "Instrument" mode, but that gives me all paramaters (23 pages worth). Can custom modes be programmed to quickly access Macro knobs on instruments, or is that something best left to mapping on a keyboard controller? Thanks for the help g
fader8
Can custom modes be programmed to quickly access Macro knobs on instruments, Not recommended. or is that something best left to mapping on a keyboard controller? Yup. Considering that keeping a healthy control surface setup running properly requires the occasional rebuilding of CS defaults, then you're better off just having a nice MIDI fader/pot/pedal at the ready and assigning it on the fly. That's what I do.
