In Logic Express 8, I cannot adjust stem lengths more than on click -- meaning I've got beams intersecting noteheads in a multi-voice staff and cannot move them out of the way. This problem does not have to do with re-positioning notes but with lengthening and shortening stems so that beams do not overlap notes. Moving the note up or down would of course change its pitch.
