organsymphony Posted August 30, 2008 Share Posted August 30, 2008 My 80s tribute band has a gig coming up and Thriller is part of our set, this time id like to do the samples (you hear the doooorrrr slammmm *POW* ahem....) so ive created an exs24 instrument with my samples which id like to assign to the pads on my axiom. I have successfully done this but because the pads read velocity through pressure, when i hit the pad and then lift my finger off it goes through steps of velocity to get back down to 0. This causes it to play multiple instances of the sample at different velocities, and well.... it sounds horrible and causes my output to clip. The samples play fine on the keys sharing the note i have the pad assigned to but i really would prefer to use my pads. Is there a way to make my pads non-velocity sensitive? Ive tried turning on velocity lock in the enigma software but that doesn't help. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
