Environment: Vector Filter Cutoff/Resonance controller.

Recommended Posts

Since so many people on these forums are generously contributing their presets, channel strips etc., I though it was time to give something back of sorts.

I've been trying to dig into the environment a bit and created these little vectors to simultaneously control the filter cutoff and resonance of the ES1, ES2 and the EXS. Unique idea, I know, but hopefully some of you may find 'em useful.

Anyway, to use them, simply copy them into your environment and cable the 'automation writer' transformer to your channel strip containing the synth/sampler. This will allow you to not only control the parameters, but write the automation data as well.

And while I'm sure there's a more elegant way, I created a separate controller for each of the ES2's filers.

Credit must also go to Steve Horlick for doing some great tutorials on the subject over at MacProVideo.com.

Take care,
