jessbailey
Hi I am using 2 keyboards with Mainstage and have a sustain pedal issue - at the moment, using the sustain pedal on Keyboard 1 triggers the sustain on the channel strips routed to keyboard 2. I have tried setting them to transmit on different midi channels in Audio-Midi setup and in the layout, but this seems to make no difference. The manual does not appear to offer a solution, so .......help please Kit list: Yamaha Motif ES8 / Yamaha DX7 llFD (yup - vintage beasty) M-Audio midisport 2x2 OSX 10.4.11 / Mainstage 1.0.2 Macbook Pro 2.2GHz Core 2 Duo. Also, does anyone know of a small midi controller that can just send program changes from a keypad/ display, without it having to be a USB keyboard? Thanks guys
shivermetimbers
How many sustain pedals are you using in the MS layout?
jessbailey
Hi I am using 2 sustain pedals, one from the ES8 and one from the DX7 - both set up in the layout and on separate midi channels. The Control 64 information is showing on the midi meter as correct (i.e. channel 1from DX7and Channel 2 from ES8). I used the same set up earlier in the year and I am almost 100% sure it worked properly. I haven't updated the OS since 10.4.11 (still don't trust Leopard I'm afraid) but I think I may have a newer version of MAinstage than I did before (I am on 1.0.2) Any help greatly appreciated Thanks Jess
