Jordi Torres
The manual says the only way to open Open the Automation Event List is with the key command (Ctl-Cmd-E) . It doesn't work for me. The screen just flashes. Anyone? - B Open the key commands window and make sure it is assigned to that key combination...if not, assign it (or whichever key combination you like). J. Eric Cardenas
This has been fixed in Logic 9. Just group and change the automation. Read more here: http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=45247&start=
ewanclark
Hi, this is a great tip, but there's one thing stopping me from making it work. Step 8 says "In the top row, set Status to "Control", Data Byte 1 to "=" and then "7"." I'm unable to set status to "control", because "controll" not there in the drop-down menu as an option. The only options for me are "all" and "=". I'm in Logic 9.1.8, and the behavior is the same in 32 or 64 bit mode. It would be great if anyone knows why this is, as I'd love to be able to complete the steps you describe. Thanks in advance for your help! Eric Cardenas
You do not need this workaround anymore. Group the tracks and change the automation by Command-clicking on the yellow automation fader on one of the track headers.

SideBMusic
You do not need this workaround anymore. Group the tracks and change the automation by Command-clicking on the yellow automation fader on one of the track headers. About the yellow automation fader: In Logic 9 there was a yellow meter on the right side of the track header. Cmd + dragging over it would raise and lower all of the current automation on the track (not referring to multiple tracks in my question here). In LogicPro X the the yellow meter is missing. I assume the horizontal volume adjustment is the replacement. The icon to the left of it is just automation on/off. And I can't figure out what I can Cmd + drag on to get all of the track automation to raise/lower at once. Eric, I don't see a "yellow automation fader" in the track headers of LogicPro X. Eric Cardenas
Eric, I don't see a "yellow automation fader" in the track headers of LogicPro X. It's gone and has been replaced by the Trim window. Hover over the digits in the automation track header and you will see the word "trim", there is no need to Command click. SideBMusic
Eric! Oh, that is so easy... and it was right in front of me. Duh. Thank you.
