A Fireface cut in half, an USB podcasting microphone, several new guitars from Gibson that look curiously like the new guitars from '60, '61, '62, '63, '64.... yaaaaawn. Or did I miss the ultra vari-laser drumkit where you bang on computers with guitar necks that light up in rythm with your ... apple loops? To me, the most exciting news is the Metric Halo channel strip for GarageBand for $89. Now that's a revolution. Next they'll get the apogee converters for $149, the neumann firewire microphone for $99 ... time for Apple to release a $399 octacore mac mini with 4 PCI express slots and internal fibre channel RAID 10.
