organsymphony
anyone with an interest in vintage gear or old computing knows that the commodore was a rather interesting little music machine. SID chips = yum... so here we have an exs file of samples from a commodore app called ProDrum. Its a really gritty little kit that i think sounds fantastic used in the right place, granted most of you will never use this for any actual productions. probably just a muck-around thing. But ive found it to be great for dirty, gritty percussion here is a list of the sample mappings: Bass 1 - C1 Bass 2 - B0 Bass 3 - A0 Snare 1 - E1 Snare 2 - D1 Snare 3 - E0 Rim - C#1 Handclap - D#1 Low Tom - F1 Mid Tom - G1 High Tom - A1 Hi-hat closed - F#1 Hi-hat open - G#1 Crash - C#2 Cowbell 1 - E2 Cowbell 2 - D2 Orch Hit 1 - G#2 Orch Hit 2 - F#2 Scratch - F2 Pull - G2 PRODRUM64.zip ive added that 'missing' file. any luck now? organsymphony
Error message : Audio file "C64 sound - 23.6.2008 (2).aif" not found! eep :S i know what that file is. but i don't know why it would be needed. Its a single audio file containing all the samples. i then cut that up and made the regions (where each region was a sample) into new audio files. So the exs should only want those audio files that i included. anyone else downloaded it and actually got it to work?

potholeskinny
Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum and Logic. How and/or where do I install these? I figure I install the .exs in the components folder, correct? What about the samples? Thanks in advance for your help!

I figure I install the .exs in the components folder, correct? What about the samples? Thanks in advance for your help! the .exs wants to go: Macintosh HD (or User) > Library > Application Support > Logic > Sampler Instruments > Drums and Percussion > Electronic Drum Kits the samples, keep em with the exs instrument. there will probably be a better place to put them. tbh, i think they can go anywhere you want.
