Pete Posted February 17, 2009 Share Posted February 17, 2009 I'm having trouble controlling the individual volumes of each instrument I'm playing thru MainStage. I'm using dynamic bass pedals, and two keyboards. I have successfully created knobs onscreen and assigned them each to independent instruments which works well enough to a point-- Preferably, I'd like to control both manual keyboards (and possibly foot pedals) with my one Volume pedal. Mapping the Volume pedal to any individual keyboard works without a hitch. However, whenever I map my volume pedal to a single instrument/keyboard/channel strip it deselects the previously selected instrument/keyboard/channel.
