EXS24 "Round Robin" or Group Chain problem

I am using MainStage on my MacBook Pro with EXS24. I have figured out in EXS24 how to do a "round robin" or "group chain" so that one note pedal (using "MIDI Step" similar to what Rush uses to trigger samples) can trigger 3 chords, say for the chorus of a song. But here is the problem... the three chords are Am C D assigned to the A pedal. This works great. But...now I need to trigger a different pedal note (let's say pedal note D) for the verse and when I go back to the chorus instead of the chorus starting on Am, it now starts on C. In other words, the round robin is still being run through with the other pedals. How can I make this "roundrobin" A pedal independent of the other pedals so that it always starts on Am. Thanks!
