David Nahmani
Yes, you can access all the GarageBand Apple Loops (midi and audio) from the Loop Browser in Logic.

David Nahmani
In Logic, go to the global menu and select Audio>Loop Browser. There you should be able to access all your loops. If some of the loops don't show up, simply drag them from the Finder onto the Loop Browser, and it will index them. They will then show up. fa
Hi David, tried and import an apple loop but it seems to work only for audio files. somehow i can see or drag any midi files in. any idea? thanks again
David Nahmani
It works for Apple Loops. Apple Loops are ALWAYS audio files, only the "green" Apple Loops have MIDI data embeded in the Audio File so you can place them onto an Audio Instrument track and then they create a MIDI Loop on the track while setting the correct instrument, and plug-ins to create the desired Audio. fa
Ok I see. Basically i need to create single midi files to put on the web. do you think i can do that straight from garage band (i doubt)? what's the quickest way if possible at all.... cheers
David Nahmani
In Logic Pro: File>Export>Selection as Midi File.
