briandelizza
I am looking on purchasing a couple of decent shotgun microphones for field recording and I am looking for some advice. I am starting to build my personal sound effect library and I am going to be purchasing a MOTU traveler and recording all of my effects at 24/192. Do any of you know of some good all around shotguns? I was thinking of the Rode NTG-2 because I already own a Rode mic and I am pleased with the quality of it. Most sounds are going to be vehicle related, although I plan on recording everything I possibly can. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! lupin
Hello mate, I have used these on several occasions, and the results are great. Lovely mics. Look at the K6 modular design stuff, I went for a 67 capsule http://www.sennheiser.co.uk/uk/icm.nsf/root/products_sennheiser_microphones Best, L
