deej08 Posted May 28, 2009 Share Posted May 28, 2009 Ive recently purchased my mpk49 and still awaiting my copy of logic to arrive. Ive read online that the mpk in its octave range cant be split to play different patches on different octaves. my main question in can i still program it through mainstage for different octaves to play different samples from multiple patches of ultra beat. example drums,synth, bass, and guitar, hopefully i worded this properly basicly i want to know if i can have my concert pulled up and each octave of the keyboard play different samples at the same time. David Nahmani Posted May 28, 2009 Share Posted May 28, 2009 Yes, no problem, it's easy to do that with any keyboard in MainStage. In fact probably easier to not worry about the MPK49's feature, leave it alone, and deal with it graphically in MainStage.
