muses
Is it a particular section you're referring to? Because it all pretty much sounds like straight 4/4 to me.
radioheadfan08
its the synth that runs throughout
David Nahmani
It's 4/4. Just focus on the bass of that synth - here's what I hear, at least in the intro, before the drums come in (then it gets a little confusing).
bobsbarricades
Well, on the drum bit, the snare keeps us in 4/4, but the kick is really awesome because it's gives us the 3 against 2 feel. The 3 against 2 rhythm is at the eighth subdivision, while the snare drops off the normal aural jousting that you'd be used to hearing. Just tap out the snare in eighths instead of the quarter it gives you. It sounds even COOLER because I think that sometimes he substitutes the 'normal' snare I mention for a different kick sound which then implies that feel. tomi
Hi, there 4/4 and 2/4 it might really sound the same. My opinion it is based on the main music sequence which is 2/4 at the dynamic range of alegro vivo. Any explained disagreement would be very much appreciated.
