Audio units not appear on a settings truck

Hello to everybody,

I have update to snow leopard and I'm using Logic express 8 (duly updated).

I was installed 2 3rd parties software instruments, correctly validated in the audio units manager, but don't appear in the settings of the truck.

If you haven't actually created any channel strip "settings" or presets for that instrument, nothing is going to show up in the library. Insert the instrument on an instrument channel and browse its own presets. You can then save them as an aupreset or as an instrument channel strip setting.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply and assistance, but, since I'm very new in Logic (I was working in Cubase) how is possible to do that ? or how is possible to locate in the manual (it's so big !!)

It looks as though you are clicking on the wrong slot. Are you clicking on where it says "Setting"? You should be clicking on the empty slot above where it says "Output 1-2".

 

It should be there.

Of what I see you have opened Channel Strip Settings, not the I/O. Look where the Software instruments are loaded:
