PaulLawler Posted September 23, 2009 Share Posted September 23, 2009 I'm sure this is a simple problem but its driving me nuts. I have connected the KX8 controller keyboard via USB, installed the drivers etc. Logic sees the keyboard in the enviornment on ports 1,2+3 . I can get some reaction from Logic by pressing one of the function keys on the KX8 but absolutely no midi in or out ? The KX8 isnt attached to anything in the enviornment ....I've tried various things but nothing seems to work. pg005 Posted December 8, 2009 Share Posted December 8, 2009 My KX8 arrived today, downloaded the latest drivers from Yamaha and the keyboard is not working in Logic. PaulLawler Posted December 9, 2009 Author Share Posted December 9, 2009 If you go into Utility on the keyboard you'll see an option screen for Midi Seclect , mine was automatically set for MIDI instead of USB, so I set it to USB and that was it !
