logicscott
Has anyone out there had this problem? Waveburner, which has worked perfectly until now, gets stuck on the...."writing track 1 of 2'. After which I have to forcequit. I'm using V1.
ignertwaffle
Hi, This has happened to me a couple of times lately. My solution sounds like the usual computer voodoo, but seems to work. Basically, I make sure I put the disc in first, before clicking burn. Then as soon as the finder has seen it, I click burn straight away without waiting at all. I have no idea why this works, but found if I click burn first (then prompted to insert the disc) and then put the disc in, it can freeze up the process. Maybe something is timing out or other such weirdness. Who knows? It obviously should be more stable. Hope this helps. Cheers, Roger
sonicbob
Thank you so much for this tip, it works for me too - Waveburner 1.1.2. After a dozen CDs in the bin and a raised voices I found this post and have now managed to burn 3 CDs. Thanks, Roger. Apple, this is ridiculous. ignertwaffle
No problem Bob, glad it worked. Hopefully Apple will fix this in the next update. It's been over a year now. Roger
